Noel Fizzypie (brother to Bluebell Toffeebell), might not be the most academic elf in Santa’s family but he always tries hard to impress everyone of just how special he is when it comes to having fun. Academic means book smarts. Every time homework needs to be done, Noel has an urgent need to have fun rather than study. He loves making toys but he loves playing with the toys even more.
When new toys are designed by the elf designers that do have the book smarts, it’s Noel who is their toy test elf. He is one of the strongest elves and filled with so much energy. That is why Noel is the perfect testing elf. He plays so long and so hard with the toys that it proves their new toys will last a long, long time, even forever in children’s memories. When a toy breaks, the designer elves thank Noel for breaking their toy. Doesn’t that seem silly? When a toy breaks, it proves that it’s not ready for little boys and girls just yet. Nobody in Santa’s workshop, wants to disappoint a child. For that reason, Noel has one of the most important and fun jobs.
That’s how he got his name! It doesn’t matter if the new toys fly or if they float, if they are for boys or girls or both. It doesn’t matter if toys are dolls, balls, soldiers, robots or transformers, they must excite Noel. He can’t help himself. When he becomes really, really excited, it’s not a whoopie or yipee that he yells, it’s “Fizz-eee-eee-e”. Many times during the day when it’s toy testing time, you will hear “Fizz-eee-eee-e,” coming from all around the toy factory and outside, even down by Candycane pond. Some parts of the pond is ice frozen for testing ice skates and other fun snow toys. Another part of the pond isĀ not frozen because Santa uses special heaters in the water. It’s not very deep but it’s deep enough for Noel to float boats and power boats with remote controls. “Fizz-eee-eee-e,” it’s fun for Noel down on the pond!
